What travelers say
A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“I stayed only once at Hotel Maxim Düsseldorf City for just 3 nights, but everything was very good. The single rooms are quite small but sufficient for one person. The breakfast was very good and ample. The staff at the reception and kitchen were very friendly and helpful with anything you need.”
“We have stayed with Maxim hotel several times and we've had no major problems. The staff are professional and prompt, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the location is convenient. Basically, world-class service at a budget price.”
“I would say that it is really good balance between price and quality! The room was with basic equipment but it was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was nice with all necessary food which you would expect for a morning time. I would not say that this hotel is suitable for a family with little children but I had a nice stay with my wife and 2 years old daughter. I recommend it for a budget stay. Only issue is a small bathroom however it is not critical one”
“Friendly staff, spoke great English which was very appreciated. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The room was small, as was the lift; anyone travelling with large suitcases might struggle for space a bit. Overall positive experience though.”
